During my time a brand designer at Firma, I worked with Green Kinoko, a female-led company that creates exterior cooling solutions. Their main product is an elegant outdoor cooling air conditioner, Kensho.

Before I started with the design, an expert captured the essences of the brands' strategy. Starting from that point, I build up the corporate design. After two weeks, we showed the clients two visual directions, and they chose to go further with mine. From here on, I had to make small tweaks and summarized all design elements in the brand guidelines, within a week.
My goal for this brand was to capture the uniqueness of this new product. Kenshō brings this soft breeze and has an elegant appearance, like a luxurious lifestyle product. These characteristics should not only appear in the general feel of the brand, but across all the design elements.
<-- For the logo, I used a strong sans serif font and gave it a twist, in order to bring movement into the shape. The letter "ō" already draws a lot of attention, the manipulation makes it even more special.

By combining the sans serif font with a serif font, the brand shows its trustworthy business side as well as its elegance. The shadows of plants moving in the wind captures Kenshōs naturalness. -->
The Art Direction is all about showing the feeling of using the product, if it's in a bar, a restaurant, at a luxurious hotel or a relaxed family gathering.

All brand elements can be layered, depending on the scope of the application. In case a calm area is need, a soft block of colour can be used to give the design a feeling of lightness.

Summarized in the brand guidelines, the client is now able work with a great flexibility and consistent appearance. -->
